I went to makaha caverns this past sunday for what I believe to be the best dive I have currently done. Turtles, beautiful caverns, good company, and a camera. I did learn some things on this dive...First of all, I really want strobes. second, I need to pay more attention to whether i am in macro or not.

I took a bunch of cavern shots there and they would have been great, except I got excited and left my camera on macro mode and didnt realize it until I saw that all those shots were just out of focus.

also, photoshop to get rid of the detritus and backscatter.

anyway, enough of that. here are some shots.

i love makaha caverns. You can dive it over and over again and not go through the same caverns. The last time I dove it I headed towards the shore (from the boat) and ran into the turtle cleaning station. The turtle pictures I have in my photo gallery are from MC. Nice pictures
