Pretty quiet place here, but I thought I would reach out to all and see if anyone is willing to share any information - or potentially collaborate on making something happen.

Not looking for a full on Dive Shop management system like Dive360, but really looking for a software to be able to track maintenance on shop rental equipment.

I have built out a few Excel and Word docs that KINDA link together, but there isn't a backend database to hold the information so, it is a one and done setup.

I have looked around at other generic type service maintenance software and really haven't found anything worth while.

I am pretty good with a computer, but programming a database isn't really one of the things I am too good at... At least not yet.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with software which can track the maintenance of in house shop equipment?

Thanks

Just curious, how big is the shop and how expansive is the rental equipment.
Most of the ones I have worked with just do it by month.
All the tanks get visd and or hydroed in November, regs get serviced in february, and so on.
Easy to do with 20-30 sets of gear. I guess it could get out of hand if you have 100 sets of rental gear.

Well, it really is the first shop I have worked for so, I don't have a comparison. We have 35 Reg Sets, 35 BCD's, Fins, boots etc. We have probably about 150-175 tanks. They do Hydro/Viz for all of them.

We swap our regs out at 375 dives. Serviced about every 50-75 dives as they get beat up pretty bad with new students.

Really just looking for a way to track them between a couple techs and to keep good records in case something happens, we have proof of last service.

Been doing it - whimsical type - since the 80s, but kinda getting older staff and want to just track it better.
