Well ... at least the return trips via ADO bus are a bit better 8:30 am 3:00 pm 6:00 pm - Mahahual to Cacncun with stops. The ADO only stops in Mahahual (in town or should I say village) close to the Hotel Mahahual. It does not go to Xcalak. To get to Xcalak you would need to take the vintage Chetumal - Xcalak bus (not sure of the times). Depending on where you stay - you may be able to arrange to be picked up in Mahahual.
Still no ATM machines in Mahahual -yet. Bring cash - most places can not process credit cards(or pay in advance via paypal). Only in the sacred and secured tourist processing area - ship pier has an ATM.
