The rangers I have met at Madison and other springs have always been nice and friendly. If someone had caused them trouble, I hate to hear that, and especially if it was a cavern diver. If the rule gets changed back to allow cavern diving, and if they still have trouble with the person they have had trouble with in the past, maybe they should post their name in the trailer at the entrance and not allow them in for anything.

Good to know. I knew that the NFSA had some connection to accessibility of the springs, but I was unsure of how that worked exactly.

The NFSA works to support for several state parks, which includes Peacock and Madison. We have an excellent working relationship with park management, and they are interested in making the park visitor experience better,as are we. All people get to enjoy the benefits of the NFSA,but with the support of our membership,we are able to provide a greater reach.

Rob:

Perhaps speculation based on lack of evidence is of no value or negative value. :idk:

I have no intent to create a problem. I was merely passing along information I had heard in the past in response to a question Kelly asked. I probably should have worded it differently to indicate this was not something I came up with. No harm intended.
