Mactan island diveshop reccomendation

Hi,

I have been diving a lot in the phils over the last two years but never went to Mactan. I am looking online at all the diveshops and I see a lot of beginner/day divers type of shops with good reviews.

Any shop that you would suggest for an advanced diver? I will be in cebu for a week.

The problem is finding a operator which is NOT heavily depend on certain national!
Dive sites vary from very ordinary to pretty good but unfortunately the better one are quite a distance away and operators only go there if there is enough demand.

Did you find any good boats suitable for advanced divers in Mactan?

I dove at Shangri-la Scottys. We just did a drift dive north of the coast drifting south. We drifted back to the resort. I wasn't expecting much but as it turned out it was a very memorable dive with lots of nudis. A scorpion fish, giant frog fish and lastly a blue ring wow! I almost passed on diving as I had come up from Dauin and Malapascua. Truth be told, this was the highlight dive (don't see blue rings everyday). The Threshers were also very cool in Malpascua.

Btw my wife and I had our own DM so we didn't need to deal with what I call vacation divers.
