Mach V slots/no slots ?

Depends on when it was made. I have one without slots that is about a year and a half old. The newer ones have since been updated with cam slots. You mount the slotless Mach V with a STA or single tank adapter. It bolts on to the tank side and comes in a one piece or two depending on make.

New Mach V wing versions have cam slots. But the newer version besides those slots has roll control device (The tank sits in a roll control device that keeps it snug -two pieces of rubber at the top and two at the bottom. They are just on the outside of the 2” webbing that is in the middle of the wing.)
