what about us? No mention of the proposals regarding us. I'm a bit concerned.
 
I haven't seen anything about the proposed diving lobster reg changes yet......but I would have to assume that if they aren't cutting back on the commercial guys, it doesn't make any sense to cut back on the "drop in the bucket" volumes being taken via scuba.

Of course, this assumes that these decisions are made based on sound logic...;-)

I had no problem with the proposed changes since they were across the board; but if they decide to let the commercial guys off; but go after the non commercial and divers; then I'm going to flip.
 
Paul Diodati's ( Head of Marine Fisheries) budget is derived from the sale of commercial licenses. Don't believe for a second that we are all lumped together;) If he thought eliminating non-commercial lobstering would increase his standings with the commercial guys, it would be done in a second. The fact that we weren't mentioned makes me nervous. There is no notice on the website.
