After seeing a friend of ours in his new W1, I was extremely impressed with the quality and design of the Waterproof suits. I was lucky enough to get a fantastic deal on a 5mm Lynx and jumped at the chance to get one. The way you do the wrist and ankle seals is fantastic for preventing water intrusion, and I LOVE the zipper at the neck for during time at the surface.

Kudos to Waterproof for making such wonderful suits!!

Thank you so much for you post! I was just about to post asking an opinion on the W2 vs lynx... considering i found a 40% off deal on the lynx. Your post really helped me decide! Just curious... what temps have you been diving in it? I'm doing 55-70 and debating getting an ice vest as well.

Better late than never... If you purchased a Lynx, we'd suggest adding an icevest for the 50's-60's temp waters. Although, it's an incredibly warm suit in comparison to competition, you'd most likely be better off with the additional warmth in the lower temps.

+1 for Waterproof !!! :D
I just dove 54dg. with my 5mm Lynx. What an awesome suit!
I was never cold or even chilly for that matter.
I am pretty warm blooded, so ymmv.
BUT
The Lynx is awesome! and outperformed my expectations.
This one is a KEEPER!
