I don't want to restart the heated debate of HP vs LP but i was wandering which one of these sets offer the greatest advantage

I was told that both tanks are very similar, if not the same exact tank with different valves...

So is there any advantage on getting the LP108s?

I understand that it is harder to get fills up to 3500psi but whatever, fill the HP 130 with 2250psi and you get pretty close to 108s?

what do you guys think?

You can make your own comparison.

LP108 is slightly bigger (16l for HP130 and 16.8l for LP108).

Which means LP108 holds slightly more air at the same pressure compared to HP130. It is slightly heavier and slightly more negatively buoyant when empty. (And full with the same amount of air as HP130.)

I say go with the 130 its smaller for one thing and lighter, Even with a short fill, say 3000psi you will still have more gas than with the 108, or if you want to keep it at low pressure you could fill it to 2640psi and still have 104cf in a smaller package. I had the same dilemma a couple of months ago btw a lp95 and a hp119 i went with the 119 for the same reason i gave you and couldnt be happier. good luck
