Heya and welcome to the Board. My advice for your purchase, just take your time and do the research. I'd rather pay a little more upfront and get what I want/need, then to try and save a penny and be disappointed. HeadHunter brings up a really good point, what type of diving will you be doing most often? and who will service it?
Good luck! and welcome again!

Welcome to the board but I don't know anything about equip. I can't get mine until I'm 18. If you have any other questions feel free to PM me.

Welcome fellow Chicago diver... I have dacor reg and love it...i just purchased the aeris atmos 2 and did 26 dives in Bonaire..worked out wonderfully. i had the aeris air integrated prior and did 100 dives with that. Great products in my opinion. Where are you diving? Go to Haigh yet? Lake Michigan???

Welcome to my dive buddy. I'm sure you will like ScubaBoard as much as I do. See you in cybersea.

Welcome to the board. Search the various posts on equipment and I think you'll find all the opinions you need. Enjoy

thanks, for the advice, i am probably going to be diving most in the midwest- lake michigan, haigh quarry, etc.- but i plan on expanding my dive horizions and diving in as many places as i can. thanks again
