Try checking out Peters Pond -fresh water, yes but I recall the vis being quite good @7-8 years back

To the falmouth people... I am there on weekends and have access to a 23 foot boat. Want to do some dives?

Yes I do.

scubastew:
are you looking for shore dives? not a whole lot to offer on the cape since it's pretty much one big sandbar.

That's why it's good. There are a few wrecks at about 40 feet in Provincetown Harbor. Longpoint Beach is where I plan on diving. Beautiful and desolite place.

anyone want to go to garbage beach tomorrow?

Where is Garbage Beach (street name, cross streets)? I've heard there are tropicals down there that would be nice additions to my aquarium.

Garbage beach is right on water street across from the intersection with the road that the library is on (I think it is called MBL street - it's the first turn after you cross over the drawbridge). If you park at the first meter after the intersection, it is directly across the street. There isn't much of a beach there, so you might find yourself wondering if you are in the right spot.

You might want to get someone familiar with the dive site to dive with you. It has quick changing strong currents, lots of boat traffic, and a confusing bottom(easy to get lost).
