Is there a difference between a Low Profile Mask versus a Low Volume Mask or are they the same?

I've never noticed a real difference between low volume or larger masks. I have to purge the mask from time to time anyways. So I never have mask squeeze. I just remember to exhale a few times out of my nose on the way down. No big deal.

Get whatever seals on your face, that you like. Don't worry about mask size.

There is a real difference between low volume masks and large masks. Agree that in general you need something that fits your face well. However the reason that low volume masks are recommended depending on the type of diving you are doing is that since they are low volume, they clear faster/easier (less volume needed to clear) and they are able to be cleared with one hand instead of two (depending on your clearing technique).
