Lover's or Break Water (Sunday)

Hey folks,

I'm going to be down in Monterey on Sunday with the family; the wife and our two little dogs.

I will have my dive buddy with me and I kinda want to explore some new areas and was wondering if Lover's might be divable on Sunday...

I will be calling Glenn at Aquarius to see if BW is looking nice... I hope to bump into some better visibility than last Sunday which was just terrible...

I'd like to see Brad one more time if he hasn't already embarked to Florida. Sarah, I catch it you might be around on Sunday... If so I'd like my dive buddy to meet you and your hubby... Maybe we can get in a dive or two...

I will call Brad tommorrow hopefully he is still around..

Mike - Mark and I might not be around on Sunday, and if we are, it won't be until the evening as we are doing a course up in the Bay Area that afternoon. Are you staying the night on Sunday?

we will be diving at breakwater tommorrow...there is suposed to be 10kn winds and 10 swells at 18sec....vis probally won't be great...but I home by tucking into breakwater it will be diveable...I say the webcam of lovers today and it did not look very nice...the seas look like they may be a little better sun and mon...but not a lot...

I called a friend as she dives usually every week on her boat. She invited me and my dive partner for Sat as Sun is taken. She said, Sat is looking not as nice so I passed.

We then are diving Sunday only. We are comming down with the family, I finally convinced the wife to come see me dive.

So you are doing your Nitrox in the Bay Area and not Monterey?

Yes. Nitrox coursework doesn't actually require oceantime. It is mostly theory. So yes, up here in the Bay Area

I'm anxious for the answer, too.

I tried to dive Saturday on the Sonoma Coast, but the swell was too much and from the wrong direction. All of the "protected" coves would get thoroughly washed out by wave sets every 15-20 minutes.

I was really tempted to drive down to Monterey today (Sunday) but, hearing of the shaky conditions, decided to stay home.

Wondering if I made the right decision. Also wondering if I should try on Monday.
