I am heartbroken and in tears. Dive instructor extraordinaire and good friend Matt Moran at Blue Angel resort has lost his lovely wife. Angie has been battling cancer for several years and passed over the weekend. Please give love, prayers and condolences to Matt and the Carrillo family who also lost the patriarch of the family "Papa Rasta" William Carrillo earlier this year. Angie's family owns Rastas-Freedom Bar in Paradise and Matt and Angie own O'Hana restaurant/bar.

Angie and her family are an island legacy family, and like her father, she was involved in local politics and did a lot of good for the community. she will be greatly missed.

I am very sorry to hear this news. I did not know Angie very well but Mateo is one of my oldest friends on the island; my wife and I were two of only five gringos, including Mateo, at their wedding; Jeannie and Big Mike were the other two. It was an honor to be included in that very special experience.

I am so sorry to hear that Mateo has lost her.

Such a bummer. Will def send him some massive love vibes. We went to see him in July but the restaurant was closed and we were never able to hook up. We love you Mateo.
