lots of velcro loops on BC

It's an old US Divers "Calypso" BC. There are a few D rings on the front, and one pouch, on the right side. There are however lots and lots of velcro loops.....take a piece of fabric, find the exact middle (if you folded it, it'd be a V, about an inch and half on each side of the bend), and sew that to the BC. Put velcro on each side, and there you have whtever my BC has. There's like, one on each shoulder, one on each side.....what the heck would you use those for??

It sounds like a tent fly.

Perhaps some early attempt at hose management.

Those are places to route your hoses to keep them more streamlined and out of the way.

No, I already bought it. $50. I'm not too concerned about the colour, it holds air, works decently. I'll buy a new one when I can afford it, but this willwork for me for a few dives in between

Some of them seemed like good things to use for hose routing, some other just seemed wierd....but hey maybe someone else runs their hoses oddly

Hey it looks like it is in great shape. I used to have the same color so I like it. For $50 if it is in good shape looks like you got a great deal.
