Lost Zonian

My homeland is gone but not the joy. Hey ya'll I'm an endangered species, a Zonian(one who lived, worked, born in the US Canal Zone prior to 1979.) If any other Zonian are on this board drop me a line and say hi! If you were there in the early 80s you probably knew my family(especially if you dove off of Isla Mame'.) Looking forward to bubble talk!!!

Welcome to Scubaboard! Are you referring to what we may know as the Panama Canal? Went through it once.

Why yes I am, or more specifically the 10 mile wide zone on either side of the canal that was from 1904-1979 a US territory.
