After the harbor cleanup with the Reef Seekers crew (which was tons of fun--thanks Ken!), we got a quick dive in at the park. Sadly, someplace between the Suejack and the stairs, my buddy's U/W camera tripod disappeared.

His description of said item:
Andrew W:
It is a black metal, small, three legs clamps etc made from strobe arms and doesn't have anything with my name on it (dumb I know).

If anyone found it, my dive buddy would be very appreciative if you'd return it. He absolutely will provide a reward.Shoot me a PM or an email if you found it, or know who did, please!

Thanks!
Jay (who was diving with Andrew W.)

I will keep an eye out for it when I dive the park next. I know Tim at CDS was notified and has notified other dive instructors since he was the one who first told me.

Fantastic, Dr. Bill--I appreciate that! A couple of older gents pointed you out before the dive on Saturday, I didn't get a chance to say hello, as you were striding away, camera in hand. :14:

Ok, sorry but i have to... a tripod with 3 legs... hum. If you don't hear here you may try some of the local shops + scubaluv and also the gents at the casino, i am sure it will turn up. those types of things don't just grow legs and go on vacation you know.

good luck!

The tripod is fairly compact 14", and I use it for video-- super steady shots have a very different 'feel' than handheld.

Its there someplace, and I am keeping my fingers crossed it turns up.

I'll most likely be diving the park tomorrow since the King Neptune isn't going out. I'll keep an eye out for it. Few divers have been in the past week.
