they in turn took posts i had made and turned em over to authorities here. now im hounded by them. and i have been told to stop conducting dive tours here . lost my dive tours that is how i am loosing income.

well, sounds like the authorities found something you were doing objectionable.

maybe you should be talking to them and trying to work things out?

why did they ask you to stop the tours? what were you doing the
authorities didn't like?

also, real cheap shot publishing someone's PM (as in Private Message) to you in an open thread for all to read. just my .02

no coast guard cert on the vessel being used. when does someones opinion warrant discrediting how they make a living? would you do what was done to me to get back at someone?

well, get a coast guard cert, that way no one can stop you from
doing the tours

as for internet politics... they suck sometimes, no doubt

ScubaBoard is a public forum, which means Google, Yahoo, The Coast Guard or anyone else who wants to view it can. Please don't post what you don't want the whole world to know.

If anyone has additional questions send me or another moderator a private message.

Indeed,

Any damage has been caused by yourself, and no one here can take the blame for you. I would suggest following all of the rules of any jurisdiction you may find yourself under. This is like blaming ScubaBoard for that speeding ticket I got last year.

You can delete any personal information in your profile, but we don't delete accounts. Too often SB addicts want to come back and we just don't have the time. If you have a compelling reason to delete one or two posts, we will entertain that, but asking a moderator to take time to clean up your mess is simply out of the question. We have better things to do.

If you have any additional questions, please PM Kim, Tech Admin, myself or any other moderator for clarification.

kim is pretty smart....and nice.
Thank you Catherine.

I have to admit that I don't take kindly to people posting my private messages - especially not when I'm simply trying to be helpful and resolve someone else's mess.

NetDoc,

Could you please send me $100.00 to take my wife to dinner for all the time you have taken me away from her because you have this board.

Thank you.

Yup. But Kim is smart enough not to write anything that everyone in the world can't see.
