My wife and I were diving at Ft Wetherill in Jamestown RI on September 1st 2025. As usual, I anchored our flag along the east wall of the west cove in about 14ft of water. After some making fish videos, we returned to find the flag was gone. The flag had a yellow crab pot style float, white 1/2” nylon rope attached to a cast aluminum handle. It was anchored with a 5lb lead shot weight with a loop on it attached with a tie wrap to the handle. I’m sure whoever took it believed it was lost. I’ve had that flag since the 90’s when I was still teaching diving and I’d love to have it back. If you have it, please give me a call. Dave: 401952 3961 Thanks 😊

You may want to duplicate this in the North Eastern US and New England forums here, as well as the New England Scuba Divers Group on FB.
Sorry that this happened too you, seems that I’m going to need a little less trusting.

my guess is someone thought it was left behind. Were there any groups there at the time? You could check with ri parks for that park to see if it was turned in or collected
