I know this is one heck of a long shot, but my dive buddy lost a Sealife DC-310 digital camera while diving Yucab Reef last Thursday (4/21). Bummer, eh? Anyway, if anybody happened to find one drifting by them while diving last Thursday, please let us know. Thanks.

Hahahaha..... I have a buddy who lost his Olympus in Coz in February. I think a few divers are going home with some new "treasures".....

Good luck

It is a long shot, but stranger things have happened. I lost my computer a few months ago, and two weeks later, my divemaster found it, not even knowing it was mine until he cleaned it up and saw my name on it. How lucky was that?

If anyone from my boat finds it, I'll let you know.

How in the world did they lose it? And if it went over board why did they not go after it?
Bummer

He reported that both he and the DM had just taken several pictures of a very large moray and he thought he snapped the camera back into a D-ring on his BCD. Guess not...

Thanks for keeping an eye out for him. He was part of my dive group. The dive site was actually Tormentos and it was around 1:00 pm on the 21st. The camera was buoyant so after he surfaced and noticed it gone we search for a while with not luck. Hopefulley we'll get as lucky as you did.

Oohhh...if his camera was positive, then the liklihood of finding it now is even less likely. Sorry to be a wet blanket...bummer.

There were so many boats around I am guessing someone picked it up and just maybe will see this thread and well, you know a miracle :)

Can they get batteries for that camera in Cuba?
