I just don't log dives
Hi,
Does anyone remember a scuba TV show in the L.A. area mid 60s?
there we’re two hosts that narrated the dives they shown. All I can recall was the
opening theme was the song RebelRouser by Duane Eddie. I’m thinking 64-66?
I don’t think they were on any of the network channels. Had to be channel 13, 9, or 11
Thanks

Why the LARGE TYPE? I can read ya just fine…

Sam recently celebrated his 90th birthday. I suspect the large font size is intended to help him rather than us. If I make it to his age by some accident of nature, I'd feel fortunate to
BE ABLE TO READ THIS WITHOUT MAGNIFICATION AND SOMEONE TO READ IT TO ME.

A man has to do what a man has to do.

Others?--well, if it can't be googled didn't happen,
And some times when you google and you read something and think "no, that is not what happened" or words to that effect.
There is a lot of rubbish stated as fact on the internet.

Thanks for correcting my ignorance.

I Do!
Hi Cynophile. The show name I cannot remember. Yes it was self sponsored by Ski ‘n Dive. George and Don Brauer (sp?) were owners of ski ‘n dive in Lakewood, Ca. They had one additional store but I can’t remember the city right now. It was locally nearby in LA County. It was George at the beginning of the show leaping off the underwater cliff at Farnsworth Bank to the tune of Rebel Rouwser by Duane Eddy. I’m pretty sure it was on a Saturday. I was 16 at the time and worked there filling tanks and sweeping up the warehouse behind the Lakewood shop where two ladies made wetsuits. I was fortunate to go on student dives at Catalina island. I was seen on only one of the dive shows where George and Don were coaxing a moray eel out of a crack in the rocks by feeding it chunks of abalone. Abalone, lobster, big bass, sheepshead and a big variety of other species of fish were in abundance there at that time. Those are wonderful memories. I haven’t been diving since I was 17, 61 years ago. I hope that’s helpful.
John

Thanks, Sam Miller answered the show was Territory Underwater. I would watch the show with my dad. I don’t recall now what year/s. Yes wonderful memories of those days!
