Looking to learn scuba in PA - any suggestions?

Looking to take a scuba class in the PA suburbs. Found one website that looks nice with flexible training schedule

You may want to take a look at the Great Lakes group over at http://www.scubaboard.com/forumdisplay.php?f=188 as they should be able to point you in the direction of a reliable shop.

Impressive staff credentials. Where do you live? There are lot's of good shops in the greater Philly area.

They also give you 6 O/W Dives vs 4 for certification and 2 speciality certifications. Is that a good deal or doesn't mean much? Do the specialities even show up on your card

It would help if we know your location. I've heard they are a good shop, but haven't run into anyone from there. As del_mo said, lots of great shops in eastern PA.

Well, Indian Valley would be a stretch for ya. There's a good shop in Conshohoken. He's a member of our dive club.

Also, check out NESS. www.northeastscubasupply.com They are in King of Prussia, actually in Trooper. Danny Martinez is one of the instructors up there. Ask for him if you are looking for training. Great instructor.
