Hey guys,

I'm currently deployed in Iraq and looking to get a custom Zeagle Ranger W made as a Christmas gift for my fiancee (she wants an all pink BC... LOL). I've tried emailing about 10 different shops that carry Zeagle products, but have yet to get a single response. With the time difference and the hours I work, it's damned near impossible for me to get on a phone during the time most stores are open. Does anyone know of any shops out there that can help me with this? Thanks in advance for any help.

That's way beyond what a store can probably pull off. I guessing that the components are made under contract and it's not as easy as tossing some fabric to the stitcher in the corner and asking for a pink one. Nevertheless try the Zeagle forum here on SB, it has good coverage by Zeagle and you will get a straight answer.

Might she be interested in a Deep Sea Supply rig? Tobin was doing some as I recall. I can't spot them on the site at the moment though.

I know for a fact that Zeagle does custom BCDs (they're actually listed on their site), and I actually PMd with Scott Zeagle here on the board and he told me to contact a Zeagle dealer. Well, I've been contacting Zeagle dealers and getting zero response, and starting to get a bit frustrated.

Honestly, she wants a Zeagle BCD and I want her to have one. I've got a Ranger and I love it (the quality is top notch) and the communication and customer service I've gotten from Zeagle has been great.

I've actually been rather put off by the tone and character of some of the posts I've seen by Tobin on some of the threads on here (highly condescending towards anyone not using a BP/W, and downright hostile to anyone who doesn't bow before the greatness of BP/W), and will say that based just on that I have no interest in giving any business that direction. I don't know the guy personally, but that's just what I've gotten from reading his posts on here, so I could be wrong.

scubatoys would be your best bet. They have (or had) a custom set up called the "brigade" which I think was a ranger harness with an escape bladder; this might be a better choice if your girlfriend is mostly a warm water diver. At least ask scubatoys about it.

I will 3rd the Scubatoys recommendation, if there is anyway it can be done they can do it.
