Looking to dive

I haven't dove either yet, so I'd be up for anything. Norman's sounds intersting... I'll have to get there another time if we don't go on the weekend in question.

The entry at Norman's isn't bad. It's a giant stride with a a bit of a slippery walk to the jump off point. Getting out is similar...not bad, but a bit slick. Exit might be tough in rougher seas.

It's a bit of a carry into the site though, but mostly level.

Or, it's a flailing half-gainer with a twist. And the exit is a wave to the arse face plant onto the seaweed. At least that's the way I remember it.

As far as the hike in, think Springer Mt, GA to Mt Kahtadin, ME.

I consider Norman's Woe to be a once-a-year-dive. Had my fun there 3 weeks ago and I can definitely wait until next year to trek there again. 3 trips with equipment over 300 yards of uneven trail then make sure you don't lose your balance on the way down the rocks. Entry was fine, but exit was a real pain in the butt as the tide was going out and we wouldn't have been able to do it w/o a couple folks on shore support duty.
