Looking to dive in Tampa Area

Sounds like you guys might be doing some diving in the Keys. As you probably know, Silent World is great. I have been diving with them on many occasions (I think I keep going back b/c of Allison's accent). :14:

If you don't make it to the keys, I, along with 5 other friends, will be diving Venice Beach Apr 27th-29th or 30th. Let me know if you are interested.

If I don't get down to Key Largo, I would be interested in diving in Venice. It'll probably be easier for me to pull off than the Keys would be as I'm going thru there anyways on my way to Ft Myers. You doing shore dives or charters? PM me with the details.
I also have an offer from Missdirected and eandiver to do some diving in the Tampa area that I'd like to take them up on. At least I have some options and should get some diving in this vacation.

I put my boat a Kawama's, So if I'm not to busy I want to go out also, I found a couple of good reefs over Easter Sunday just off Kawama's about 1 1/2 mile out.

On the other hand, I am free to dive on the 22nd thru the 25th and the 28th and 29th in the Tampa/ Venice area.

This might be a dumb question, and I don't even know if I'm making sense, but would you be able to go out with your boat along with us with Silent World? My friends and I committed to Pat, especially since we have to rent our gear.

No I would never step on Pats fins , I was saying that if you guys had an opening and no boat to go out on I have a boat and gear for 3 if you wanted to run out to a reef to dive.. I love charters I think Silent World is great. I just like going to reefs that other people don't.

Me me me! I'll do it... I'm competent as a boat operator as well as I used to run commercially with my own boats

So, how was the party? Was it a 2 day, or 3 day hangover? Looks like I'll be available to dive the 22nd, 23rd, 24th and 25th, and then again on the 29th. Let me know if you or anyone you'd recommend is diving then. I probably can't dive all of those days, as I need to have some "family time" but I definitely want to get in the water a couple of times.

Hey C-Dawg, I hope you don't mind I moved your pm here so's everyone could see the dates you have open as possibilities.

Through the week, though I can go, it is difficult to get others out. They do this thing called work :winky: That said, the 22nd and the 29th look most plausible. I am going to shoot this thread to Captain Ty and see if he is available for those dates. Also to EanDiver, so we can finalize some things

Anyone else interested in going? Speak up. I am going to start a new Greater Tampa Area thread today, so I will pop this link in for others that may be interested in getting out in the gulf.
