Hi,

I am interested in doing some underwater terrain photography and would like to dive steep walls. I can travel to Bahamas and Carribean. If someone could suggest wall dives in this area, Id be grateful.

Cheers ...

Cozumel is famous for its walls like Santa Rosa, Palancar, Columbia
Little Cayman has Bloody Bay wall, which is a dramatic vertical wall
southside of Roatan has some of the best walls I have ever dived - stay at CCV or FI in order to do those dives
Bonaire has walls but they are more gently sloping
in the Bahamas the only walls I have dived are the Blue Holes down in Cay Sal Bank (must do a liveaboard to get there)

in the Pacific..... Palau! very dramatic vertical walls.

Little Cayman, Bloody Bay Wall, has to be one of the best. One location is 18' deep at the top of the wall, then over the side, a sheer drop to 7,000'. And you can see a long way down. This is my favorite dive site.

Cayman and St Croix USVI are the only wall dives I am familiar with in the Caribbean.

I would have to agree with this.

However, Coco View is pretty good for less $$$$$$

If $$$$$ is not an issue do Little Cayman Island!

I've had good look diving in Nassau, Bahamas using Stuarts Cove. The walls there are good. This area is not known specifically for its "wall" diving but for its good diving in general. My LDS usualy has enough people to go once a year and get their own dive boat which helps dictate what diving you'll be doing.

Little Cayman has some excellent wall diving too. Bloody Bay Wall for sure.

Few things in life actually live up to the hype.

Bloody Bay wall does (at least for me)!

Several walls in Old Providence "that rival those of Little Cayman" (Sportdiver Magazine Apr 2008) but my favorite is the Blue Wall in San Andres a 20' reef with tons of wildlife, swim to the edge and a vertical drop straight down 200+ ft with tons of sponges, and coral, and wildlife absolutely magnificent.
Ciao
