Well, I am impressed that Scott R. still calls me his buddy after teasing him about his rampage in Playa del Carmen three weeks ago:) You'll have to ask him for details:):)

Like Scott mentioned, we have reservations on the CE, 8:30 am departure and 2 pm return. My question is: to get two tanks in that time, is it possible? Neither of us want to feel rushed, but at the same time we both want to maximize our time while there.

What I am not certain of is the time it generally takes to get from the CE docks to the stairs while picking up a few tanks and weights on the way etc.

Glad to see ScubaBoard up and running again!!!

8:30 a deptarture from LB, assume a 9:30 a Arrival in Catalina. Depending on how you get to the park, it can be a 30 min walk or a 5 min ride, so let's say 10:00a to the Park. If you can get a tank/weights fast enough, should put you in the water at 10:30a. 1 hr dive, it's 11:30 when you exit, take 1 hr break and get lunch, back in the water at 12:30. 45 Min dive here will put you at 1:15. Get your tank turned in, head back to the Dock, assume another 30 min walk, should put you right at the CE Dock at 2:00p.

Looks like a taxi ride may be your ticket to two dives, imo.

Thanks Brian, that is the timeline we were thinking of. Looks as though its doable.

Thanks again!

I am pretty sure that the truck will be open on Monday, I will know for sure Sunday afternoon. If it will not be open, I will let you know on this board.

Thanks again! We have partially solved the time crunch issue by changing reservations to the 6:15AM ferry out. Assuming the truck will be open at 8:00, we should be a lot better on time.

I just confirmed that the shop at casino point dive park will be open tomorrow, (Monday) will be open 8 to 4. Have fun.. and see ya in the water!
