Welcome to Scubaboard and the KPP!

Nice pics! Is that quarry open to the public? ;)

Sorry, no it's a privately owned piece of land. However, I would be glad to let you know when we schedule another training/diving session and you and any friends would be more than welcome to dive with us. We are all volunteers and our diving is pretty informal. Some are new to the sport and some have years of diving experience. We always encourage others to dive and we try to take any opportunity meet new divers. I LIKE YOUR QUOTE, It just about sums it up.....

Welcome RPM, I'm a staff member at Pennyroyal & have over 150 dives there. It's kind of my diving "home base", if you will. If there is any more questions I can answer about Pennyroyal, please feel free to ask.
This last weekend the water temp was 74 degrees from the surface to about 20ft, 65 degrees from 20ft to about 35 ft, In the 50's from 35 ft to 60 ft & it 's always 42 degrees from 60 & below. Vis was generally about 20 ft or so. In the deeper & colder areas, it's almost always clearer because there not as much traffic, in the shallows, it can get pretty stirred up from classes going on. Depths range from wade- in to about 25ft in the shallows, to about 115ft in the deep end.

Welcome RPM! Come on own to Pennyroyal and dive with us.

Thanks for the replies and great info. Looking forward to diving Penny on August 2nd. Maybe get a chance to meet some of y'all.
