My son is getting his open water cert later this month, and would like to do a trip this spring for his senior trip. We are looking for something local (within the US, and needs to be geared towards beginners). We will be making trips to local quarries the rest of this year, but want to make sure it's enjoyable for him to learn on. Looking for something in the 4-ish day trip. We plan on driving from Indiana, so something within a 2 a day. Any recommendations? I've dove in Destin the last few years, but looking for someplace that might offer a discount for booking multiple days in a row, and the option to get some SSI training for him (Nitrox, Deep, etc), if he's up to it at that point.

Best dive in lower 48 states is Key Largo John Pennekamp National Park. Low depth, clear water & lots of live coral and marine life. It's a good snorkel spot too because depth can be as little as 8 feet.
