As the title states and i'm sure this has been discussed. I currently have a larger camera rig that i haven't used in some time and will soon post it to sell. im looking for a compact dive setup that could fit in a backpack. i'm tired of lugging close to 50 plus pounds og gear on multi week trips and as much as i loved taking photos and having my equipment, traveling with kids made it all too much to do deal with. Anywho i had a sony A7 III R and it is and still is a great camera. what do you guys love and use? feel free to post some pictures of some of your dives!

Olympus TG5/6/7 with several housings to choose from.

Nauticam NA6400:

I recently got two new Inon S220 strobes to replace the aging D2000 strobes which are in for service now and will return for duty on my still alive FIXS90 (Canon S90) rig. The S220 strobes are actually stronger than the larger D2000 strobes but neither really have the power for CFWA so I will eventually get the new Inon strobe when it releases or something else. I like the S220s.

My dive buddy here is using a TG but really, once he gets it put together it is a larger footprint than my Nauticam NA6400 when I fold and compact it.

I recently bought a Sealife micro 3.0, I like that it’s sealed and very compact and since I’m not in the least bit interested in selling pictures or impressing anyone other than the grand kids it serves perfectly. MICR0173.jpegMICR0185.jpegMICR0172.jpegMICR0188.jpeg

I like the Sea Life cameras myself, especially the micro, although travel stuff like this despite us not wanting to comes down to budget a lot of the time. What sort are you looking at? I go on a dive about once a year and try to document as much as possible as a general rule, so memory is important to me. I tend to get tips for things like this online in the travel sphere as a quick go to. One guy I would recommend who travels and dives non-stop is Facts and Footsteps, he went to the Maldives last year, to an island and the capital Male. Some of the gear he has is very high tech, so if you like interesting travel tips combined with names I can barely pronounce for equipment then he may be able to help you!
