Have any of you been to Sea Monkey Divers in the keys? (islamorada). I'm looking at doing a couple dives with them. How long have they been around? Are they reputable? What is the diving like there?

I've been to the Keys a bunch of times and dived out of Islamorada a few times. I've never heard of Sea Monkey.

Divers City used to dive out of Islamorada, but I think they've gone out of business.

Conch Republic is across Hwy 1, they have a great operation.

They are located at the Hampton inn at mm80(outback). Its a straight shoot to alligator reef, the boat leaves from the back of the dock and it looks like it handles about 10. I never dove with them but there shop seems up to date and the owner seemed nice.

Thanks for the reply. Anyone else every been there or heard anything?

Thanks,

Mike

They bought somebody out then. I've stayed at that Hampton and the dive op was one that had a shop in Key Largo, but I can't remember the name..............

The op at the Hampton used to be It's a Dive (apparently affiliated with an outfit of the same name in Key Largo) We stayed there on our way out a few times nice hotel...
