I am starting to look for info and boats for dives in the VA Bch area. I do not want a cattle boat. I am also wanting dives for beginners as I will have my 13 yr old daughter with me. Any suggestions on sites or boats or where to look?

Thanks

Best bet for a 6 pack is through Dive Quarters. Capt Dave has The Pelican and it is a nice Parker 28? 6 pack and I heard they have another boat under thier wings now as well.

Miss lyndsey of Lynnhaven Dive Center is a cattle cart by my books.

Thats the only dive shops I frequent. I am sure the "more seasoned" vets can help you out with other options.

Pelican is actually 25ft, Will's is 28. Dave does run a nice op, but the small boat might be too much for a newer diver.
Lynnhaven really isn't too much of a cattle boat & would be a good choice for newer divers, bigger platform & tend to stay on some of the easier wrecks. They carry a max of 16 now.
DQ is also using the Ocean Explorer now, big boat, & have some shallower dives on the schedule, Andy is mating on the boat also, not sure if that is a good thing or not. LOL

Thanks guys! What are the easier and shallower dives in the area? The tower????? Something very suitable for us? I will have to keep my eye out for him:)
