I really like my Seawing Novas - have two pairs in fact. I am very prone to calf cramps and I have done pretty well with these in that regard for the most part. However...I'd like to get a second set of fins that are (in order of priority):
1) not heavy nor stiff, nothing that would make me more prone to calf cramps
2) neutrally buoyant or slightly negative (my trim is good when moving but can't hover well at a safety stop, nor sit underwater in a course pool session because my Novas are so buoyant my feet float way up)
3) spring/bungee heels with good height in the foot pocket for 5mm boots - I have thick feet and my right foot hurts at the top after a while wearing the Novas
4) ideally a bit more compact for travel
I am fairly petite - 5'4" 125 lbs - and don't wear much weight with a wetsuit, 0-2 lbs in fresh water and 4 lbs in saltwater, so really don't want to add ankle weights to solve the buoyancy issue. Would love to get some recommendations on fins that would work well for my needs - thank you in advance for any guidance!
