Just as a follow up, I wanted to thank everyone for the replies. I went out on Sunday to Millbrook to the event run by the Dive Shop and I had a great time. I have not been able to do much dry-suit diving in the last several years because I've been living in warm climates, so Sunday gave me a good chance to brush up on my dry suit skills (just got the suit back from a DUI servicing) and get an orientation to the quarry. The lunch hit the spot. The staff was friendly and professional. As I get to know more folks I don't know that I'll always seek a "fun dive" venue (I like to dive early in the morning and be home by early afternoon) and I prefer diving with a single buddy. But, it's a handy way to meet other divers if you are new to the area. It's also a good way to both build and refresh your skills, especially if you're preparing for a trip to warmer and sunnier shores.
