Unfortunately, if you buy at LP, you will lose the manufacturer's warranty which would give you FREE service kits every other year. ALso, if APeks did an upgrade on a certain part, you would also miss out buying it at LP.

I dont want to debate the whole online vs. LDS thing, and lets hope GENESIS is not around.....

Just thought you should know what you are losing buying from a NON AUTHORIZED RETAILER OF APEKS REGULATORS!!!!!

The Apeks service kits are hard to get unless you are [or know] an Apeks tech.

However, you should have no trouble finding an authorizes Apeks tech who will service your regs annually.

Hard, but not impossible.

Vance's book is excellent, highly recommended even if you don't service your own regs.

Any tips on where to find them, then?

What's the price on those service kits?

$20? $50?

I saved roughly $300 off retail for my Apeks reg set by buying online.

$50 every other year and I'd need to use the regulator for, oh, 12 years before I saw any value from buying locally.
