Hey all. I am looking into a trip to cancun for diving. I am an experienced diver and don't want to have to babysit anyone. Are there any ops that cater to more experienced divers? I know all the dives are follow the leader DM type dives but which ones are the better ops?

LoL! If I go I'm planning on meeting Marissa and diving with them until they leave which will be from Wednesday to Friday. Then I will stay a couple extra days in Cancun and get in some OW diving, lol! That is assuming I can find a good op. There would be no way I would go to Mexico and not cave dive!

Well have fun. Glad to know we don't have to cut up your cave card. I've went to Cancun years ago before I started diving so I can't tell you about the diving there. I did dive in Cozumel from a cruise ship though. Have you considered taking the ferry across and staying / diving there? From what I have seen and heard I think I would enjoy Cozumel over Cancun. Now I did go over to Isla Mujeres when I was in Cancun years ago. I don't know about the diving but the top side was definitely more appealing to me. Have fun I'm jealous.

Well, it turns out I'm just going to join Marissa and come back on Saturday so it will be purely a cave diving excursion! Definitely no need to cut up my cave card

That's good you and Baker have been treading on thin ice in regards to getting your cave card cut up. Have fun I am jealous. Definitely want to get back to Tulum.

Try Solo Buceo. Their dive shop is next to the Dreams hotel. Make sure that you communicate clearly what your expectation is and I am sure that they will be able to accommodate you.
