actually brands don't matter too much. as if they say bilabong, quicksilver... chances are there are some made in China, Mexico and even the Philippines....

others are made elsewhere then labeled where they would be retailed.

This is so true, you pay a premium just because of the brand. Look at designer labels, guess where they're made. Unless you're talking about haute coutoure, most of them would be made in third world countries.
 
have you seen the ones with jimmy hendrix? I like those.
 
Ha i know! and board shorts in boracay or PG is only 150 - 400 . . . .very cheap, and almost the same material as the australian labels. So I buy several of em when i go there.
 
I saw some store selling board shorts in metrowalk and st. francis square for only P600 to P700. They have "export over runs" of the fancy labeled ones.
