Boat ran over my flag and I lost my manta reel and reef hook.
What I really need help is replacing the reef hook.
It was 3 pieces of spearshaft where the prong is located, welded back to back, so that you could fold the prongs when not in use, super neat.
I had bought it a long time ago from a freediving/spearfishing shop which has changed hands and they obviously no longer have them. It's the only place I've ever seen it I believe, but if someone has seen it, they'll surely know what I'm talking about, so here's hoping scubaboard can help.
Btw, hooking to the bottom is unfortunately a necessity often, I do my best to always hook to a rock and avoid coral, but when current (specially surface) is strong, you simply cannot both pull the float and stay with the group without hooking on when guiding.
