My 12yo is a little picky... he gags easily, he currently has a small mouthpiece on his regulator and he says he really has to bite down to hold and it gives him a sore jaw. When we dive, we tend to do 3 dives a day. When I look at it, I see that he has those really small bite tabs, which I don't like (it would make my jaw sore).
