Looking for a good dive mag.

I'm trying to find a good dive magazine to read. I enjoy that ocean planet mag but it comes out so few times a year. I just started a subscription with rodales scuba diving mag. for lack of finding anything else. I had forgotten how much it sucks. I enjoy reading about diving when I can't do it and need help finding a good publication. Also are there any out there that deal primarily with cold water diving which is what I seem to do the most of?

Couple I love are Advanced Diver Magazine and Wreck Diving. Both come out about every 2 months, but they seem to alternate so it works well.

I've been enjoying the in-depth stories in "Fathoms" (my sister got me a subscription for Christmas).

Dive training mag is the best for newbies like me and instructors........

Yeah, Ocean Planet went under. I bought a (fairly expensive) subscription for my uncle for Christmas :christmas and they went under after his first issue. :kopfab: He said he really liked the one issue he got. There is a really good mag. called Sources that I read once, but I think only NAUI instructors can get it (which I'm not... uh, oh, I may have just put certain parties on double secret probation :ignore: ).

That's sad to hear because like you I purchased a subsciption to the mag at beneath the sea. Now I know why haven't recieved any after first one. Kind of figured the worst though. Thanks for all the suggestions, I actually forgot about dive trainer. I usually pick up new copies when I'm at my lds. That is a good magazine!

'Dive Training' is great and 'Alert Diver' from DAN is also good (you have to sign up for membership though).

Unless you -really- like advertisements I would stay away from 'Sport Diver'.
