the SCD gang (http://www.southcoastdivers.com/) meets EVERY Saturday morning for a group dive in Laguna Beach. Most of the time we have ~20 people in the group.
We have plenty of experienced divers willing to help out with newbe.

Hey xxpnkdrummer05xx and congrats on getting certified. There's a lot of events you can make it to already lsited but also a lot of people from SB who are diving on a regular basis. I'm planning to get in the water (thinking Laguna Beach) at least once over the 3 day weekend. If you're looking to dive this weekend, drop me a line.

You have lots of diving ops in OC, you can also check with www.divevets.com. They dive the Palos Verdes to Redondo; weekly Wednesday and Saturday dive.

I should be available weekday evenings until ADP is complete next month. I live in Lake Forest and work in Irvine. LA ADP really requires you to dedicate your weekends to their diving program but is worth it.

For OC, I dive Picnic Beach (Heisler Park), Shaws (who doesn't?), and more recently I made my first visit to the Cleo St. Barge. I'm always looking for an O.C. dive buddy, too.

Hi all...I just signed up for the email list...will probably be coming down in the next week or 2 to Laguna...I need to get back into the water....5 months is WAY too long! LOL
