Looking for a dive buddy Monterey/Carmel 7/21

Hello all,

My schedule just cleared and I figured I would try and get some diving in this weekend.

I am looking for a dive buddy to dive with this weekend, 7/21 and/or 7/22

I am not locked in to any thing specific so I am open to suggestions for locations.

I may have to bail on this unfortunately. I just can't justify spending 139 before tax on a DUMP!

That was the cheapest I could find in all the area and I know it is a DUMP because I stayed there once before!

Next one was 169... :-( Last minute planning just doesn't cut it I guess.

Gotta watch out for Monterey event weekends. This weekend was the California Rodeo Salinas and the Carmel Bach Festival.
Prices go up.

Help your buddies out and say what the dump was named.

Hey Chuck,

That would be the Candle Bay Inn.

Exposed wires (cable) running through the bathroom.

No chair for table

No hangers. Asked for hangers and was told they don't supply them because people take them.

$50 a night, OK. 140 a night, no way.
