Hey all

after a decent torch for my UK dives but cannot afford a top end one. Can anybody reccomend one for general use in UK waters?? Not going to be going too deep maybe down to 20-30m

Cheers

What are you looking for in a light and what are your diving conditions like? Do you have a preference for LED or HID? Night diving? Are your dives in clear water or murky fresh water? Canister or hand held, and if you are thinking about hand help do you want the ability to add a goodman handle? Do you already have backup lights? How much money are you willing to spend?
Answering these questions will help us make recommendations that are appropriate for you!

Take a look at this light, 700 Lumen LED Light System by Dive Rite - Dive Gear Express. It's a great price and a pretty darn good all purpose light. One of my dive buddies has this light and it cuts right through the murk in our local waters. It's also a pretty versatile light. It can be hand held or put on a goodman handle. I think it takes AA batteries and if you want to move to a canister light it can be upgraded.

Do a search for the above and you'll find what you're looking for.
