I am not so happy with the DX7pro that I have owned for 7 years (of which 2 "CoVid" years in which the suit has not been used). After 7 years I needed to replace the zipper, which is due to normal use. The problem is that the glue used in the suit has turned to "powder". This explained why some leaks were hard to link to the wear of the zipper. Powdering of the glue does occur but should not happen after 7 years and can only be expected first after 15 years. Either the quality of the glue is bad or the glue has been wrongly applied. The suit has always been stored in a dark and cool place. This is not what I expected from a hi-end (and hi-price) brand. Re-glueing is not an option because the powdered glue makes it impossible for fresh glue to bind to the fibers of the material. I have now opted for a local dive & sail suit repair company to make one to measure. These companies often make suites for local fire and rescue departments. Prices are generally lower and with much more workmanship, material quality and support.
