We used two 21ft. boats for over 30 years to take divers daily at the university. One was a Bertrum and the other a Whaler. We rarely took less than 4 divers on two dives. We used up a few outboards in those thirty years but the boats worked great. We did a little skiing with these boats but clearly the outboards were working too hard. A larger boat for diving is not a good ski boat. They may be able to pull someone but they are not made for that and would wear out much faster. A lot of good ski boats can be used to dive from but a good dive boat that can handle the ocean and a small group should be bigger and heavier Adventure-Ocean
