Friday was a blow-out and as a result it scared everybody away from the Keys for the weekend. Greg, Joan and Jenny B decided to not take the chance so I went all by my lonesome. I got to Looe Key to find that NOBODY else had shown up and with only two divers they wouldn't be going (at any price lol).

So, I did a quick drive-through of Key West (it's still there) and then headed up to dive with Brian's outfit at Island Ventures in Key Largo. We did the Grove and then an old coal ship with a name I can't recall.

It was flat and the usual current was down to a half-knott. Nice day all in all, and with only 4 divers on the big boat it was downright roomy. Water felt warmer than the 76 degrees registered, and I got some OK barracuda video.

Dinner was fish tacos at Sr. Frejoles (which has fortunately stopped putting curry in the refried beans) and a couple of Coronas.

SNIP... Maybe we can attempt a group trip later in the year.....
I'll be watching for a trip for sure! I still haven't been, but will be going in May for sure. (7th or 21st or 28th). It's a little far off to plan but gotta have something to look forward to!!!
