HELP!
I need a longer/taller tank boot for an 8" steel tank!!
I have a Faber Steel 149cf tank that desperately needs a longer/taller boot.
I cannot seem to find a source for these boots locally or on-line, and I am about certain they are out there but I cannot seem to nail down the proper search criteria/manufaturer on multiple "Google" searches.
The boot that came with the tank when new has little "vanes" of a sort that make it exceedingly "tippy".
It does not have a square bottom and and the thing is a downright safety hazard on a boat or when suiting up on the tailgate of my truck.
I purchased about 4 of the longer/taller style tank boots for 8" diameter tanks some years ago and gave away my last one to a friend about a year ago for him to use on his OMS/Faber LP 120, and cannot find any others to purchase.
I currently have a UK (Underwater Kinetics) boot on it but it is just too low and the tank wobbles a little bit with the depth I need to push the cylinder into it creating a convex condition at the bottom.
Any links, suggestions, or directions as to where I can find these different boots would be most appreciated.

Thinks NOAA cannot predict wave heights in SoFla correctly for over a year and counting.
