Longer hose for my second stage?

Wow.... I had no idea. I knew from reading this board that an Octo combo would require a longer primary for safety but I didn't know any of these details you guys brought up.. I'm definatley re reading this thread and taking notes.. Thanks a ton guys I got more than I expected

I can't constructively configure this rig since I feel the Alternate/Inflater as a fundamental flaw and I'll leave it at that.

I completely agree... but the OP specifically asked about a long hose with the octo/inflator.
