My dive rite trek wing has a 27" long corregated inflator hose. Does anyone know of where to get a longer one and if its available through dive rite? I would also need a longer dump cable as well.

Thanks

You want a LONGER one ???
That's going to be tough.

Becaue you'll probably have to have one specially made.

You may be able to contact some of the specialty technical diving equipment manufacturers to see what's available.

Most people generally go in the opposite direction.

DiveRiteExpress lists only 6, 12, 16, and 22 inch hoses available from Dive Rite. If you want something longer, maybe you can try an OMS dealer, since they make (I believe) up to 30" hoses designed to go under your arm instead of over the shoulder.

I was actually thinking about doing the same thing for my ranger. I bought an air2, but the corregated hose isn't long enough for me to breathe from it comfortably.

I'll probably just scrap the air2 and get a regular octo.

Thats what I am considering, BTW, what did you pay for it? Was it their so called authorized dealer? I ask because if my LDS is going to rape me on it, I am going to LP and go it alone.

I think the measurement is of the hose itself, not including the elbow and inflator. So you probably have a 22" hose. I have a 16" hose that's a little too long. "A lot of people" are going to tell to get rid of the cable dump and get a plain elbow while you're at it. Out of curiousity, why you need such a long hose?

Well, considering adding an air2 (my existing bc has one) so that I don't have to change out bc hoses as I switch between bp/w and jacket. With a plain elbow, I can only vent throught the inflator? I wish my wing had a right shoulder dump. Using the wing is going to be a change for me. I never use the inflator for anything but inflating. I always dumped by my right shoulder or the lower dumps. I never thought pulling the hose was a good idea. One thing I noticed is that my wing (dr trek) does not dump out all that well although I am also not underwater under pressure.
