Long time diver from AZ

Greetings from Arizona. Been diving for 15 years but recently been enjoying some trips to socal for wrecks and kelp. Boy am I wishing I had a dry suit!

As a San Diego diver, the water is cold, but not as cold as Lake Pleasant during the winter. For 15+ years, ive been diving a 7mil wetsuit here in San Diego year round. Its doable. It wasn't until a year or 2 ago that i got my drysuit. I dive my drysuit during the winter with sweatpants and a hoodie because my thermals that came with my suit are too thick and hot. Depends how much you dive out here, may be worth it to get one. I have a APEX drysuit. Alot of others who dive here dive DUI because they are local just outside downtown SD.
